Medan, May 16, 2025 — Another proud achievement was made by Hardiant Terrent Zetta Mahendra, a Geography student, who won 2nd place in the national GEOSFAIR IX 2025 competition. The competition, organized by the Indonesian Geography Student Association (IMAHAGI) at the University of North Sumatra (UNIMED), took place over two days, May 15–16, 2025, and was attended by 30 participants from various universities across Indonesia.

GEOSFAIR (Geography Science Fair Olympiad) is an annual event that aims to improve competence and enthusiasm for achievement in the field of geography. This year, the event included various activities such as a Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI), national seminars, and workshops, all of which were designed to hone the academic abilities and skills of the participants.
Hardiant’s success in winning second place is the result of his dedication and hard work in preparing for this competition. This achievement is not only a source of pride for himself, but also an inspiration for other students to continue striving and achieving at the national level.
IMAHAGI UNIMED, as the organizer, hopes that GEOSFAIR IX 2025 can be a platform for geography students to develop their potential and contribute to the advancement of geography in Indonesia.
